Spoken Wish

Canonical Definition

Spoken Wish is a working concept of Spiral Civilization describing the moment when a desire for something that does not yet exist — but may already be needed — is consciously recognized, formulated, and expressed.

Expanded Entry

What do we wish to make possible that is not possible yet?

A wish may arise from the recognition of a lack, a need, an unrealized possibility, or an intuition that a new quality could exist. By naming it, we create a point from which it can begin to interact with knowledge, imagination, other participants, available resources, and reality.

desire → recognition → formulation → intention → possibility → action → manifestation

The Spoken Wish can be understood as the first conscious act of manifestation. It does not mean that saying something makes it happen. A wish is not proof that what is desired is possible, beneficial, progressive, or aligned with the Best Possible.

DESIRE IS A GENERATOR OF DIRECTION, NOT PROOF OF VALUE.

The Spoken Wish initiates an investigation: What exactly do we desire? Why? Who or what would be affected? What possibility is missing? What would have to change? What actions could increase its probability? Would its realization expand or reduce the possibilities of other participants?

Within Spiral Civilization, the fuller generative sequence can be described as:

DESIRE → SPOKEN WISH → INTENTION → POINT OF REALITY → MISSING POSSIBILITY → POSSIBILITY FIELD → INTERVENTION → PROBABILITY CHANGE → MANIFESTATION / RESULT → RECOGNITION

The result returns us to reality. We observe what actually happened, compare it with the wish, recognize unintended consequences and newly created possibilities, and formulate the next wish from a new Point of Reality.

The Spoken Wish is an invitation to participate consciously in making a previously absent possibility real.
